Non-Destructive Testing: Magnetic Testing, Process Owner

Magnetic Particle: Process Owner helps process owners improve their skills and competencies in the aerospace workforce. Topics include the role of the NDT Level 3, nondestructive testing (NDT) control, NDT personnel qualification and certification, documentation control, and calibration and process control. Also covered are customer requirements, liaison with other functions, product awareness, written instructions, magnetic particle inspection systems, and formulae. 

Learning Objectives 

By the end of this training, you will be able to: 

  • Interpret codes, standards, and other contractual documents that control NDT methods. 
  • Describe the technical responsibilities of an NDT Level 3 for facility and personnel. 
  • Select a method and technique for a specific inspection.  
  • Create, verify, and approve the technical adequacy of procedures and work instructions for NDT-related documents. 
  • Conduct performance reviews of NDT personnel and NDT technical audits.  

Who Should Attend 

Process owners who are capable of writing, reviewing, and approving processes, procedures, and qualifications of lower levels, as well as designing new processes and resolving issues among all other levels, will benefit from this course.
