Wang Wei

Wang Wei brings over 17 years of experience in the aviation industry, specializing in quality management, manufacturing processes, and operational leadership. He holds a Master’s degree from Cranfield University in the UK, where he conducted research on Friction Stir Welding.
He began his career in 2007 as a special process manufacturing engineer at COMAC's Heat and Surface Treatment factory. His expertise and leadership skills led to his promotion in 2012 to Deputy Quality Director at COMAC, where he played a key role in advancing quality management initiatives. Currently, he serves as the Chief Operating Officer at Boeing Zhoushan Completion Center, a joint venture between COMAC and Boeing, overseeing critical operational processes.
Throughout his career, he has achieved several key certifications and accomplishments. He is a certified quality auditor by BV AS 9100, holds a CAAC 145 manager certificate, and is qualified in safety management systems by CAAC China. His contributions include leading a Lean Manufacturing project at COMAC, improving adhesion in anodizing and painting processes, and establishing a special process audit platform, including checklists and manuals, for COMAC.
