Amanda Vorwerk
Director, Design & Technology Quality, Lockheed Martin Aeronautics
Amanda Vorwerk is the director, Design and Technology Quality for Lockheed Martin Aeronautics where she oversees a diverse portfolio including world-class non-destructive engineering, process controls and metrology. Her team is also responsible for developing and deploying data-driven capabilities to support both legacy and future program architectures for the Aeronautics’ Quality and Mission Success organization.
Previously, Amanda was the senior manager, Supplier Quality Management, for Lockheed Martin Aeronautics. In that role, she was responsible for leading all aspects of the Air Vehicle & Mission Systems (AVMS) Supplier Quality Management team, which performed product acceptance and supplier oversight to support program development, production and sustainment of all Aeronautics programs.
Since joining Lockheed Martin in 2002, Amanda has held many positions across the value stream and led several critical initiatives for the company. Her experience spans Supplier Risk and Performance Analysis, Propulsion Engineering, Aircraft Performance, Business Development, Supply Chain Management and Quality.
Amanda graduates Summa Cum Laude from Christian Brothers University with a bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering. She also earned a master’s degree in Aerospace Engineering from the University of Notre Dame.
