PRI Training Instructors
PRI Training courses are taught by subject matter experts and qualified leaders in Quality. An average instructor has more than 15 years of experience in the quality industry and an established background in the subject matter they teach.
All instructors undergo a rigorous screening and training process that includes:
- Completion of a detailed application with a minimum experience requirement
- An interview with PRI Training staff and/or senior PRI Training instructors
- Participation in courses taught by qualified PRI Training Instructor Trainers to learn how to conduct an PRI Training course effectively
- Co-teaching at least one course in each subject area with an PRI Training Instructor Trainer who observes and evaluates their performance
- Receiving formal feedback from PRI Training Staff and Instructor Trainers
- Formal evaluation after each class from course participants
- Quarterly instructor reviews
Private Training Instructors
Onsite private training instructors are specifically selected for each client. The experience and background of the instructor is matched to the unique needs of the client organization. Instructors will be selected based on the following criteria:
- Subject matter expertise
- Industries served
- Languages spoken
- Experience with specific audience levels

Lum Chee SoonLanguages: English and Mandarin Location: Singapore Specialties:
Background: Lum has 29 years of experience in Quality and Special processes with a major US multi-national aerospace prime with last appointment as Manufacturing Transition Manager. Lum is currently a Lead Nadcap Auditor and Trainer for Heat Treating, Chemical Processing, Non-Conventional Machining, Surface Enhancement, and Aerospace Quality Systems. He is a former trainer, founding member, and Certified Quality Supervisor course. Lum served on the Executive and Education Sub-Committee of the S'pore Quality Institute. He is a founding member of the Heat Treat Society- S'pore Chapter, American Society for Metals. Lum retired as a senior member of American Society for Quality, Certified Quality Technician, Engineer, and Auditor. |

John EwingLanguages: English Location: USA Specialties:
Background: John is the co-author of many PRI Training courses including Introduction to Pyrometry. He has been involved with PRI as a Nadcap auditor and trainer since 2004. He is also a Nadcap audit reviewer. Prior to that, he spent forty years at Raytheon Aircraft in various positions related to metallurgy and served on the Nadcap Heat Treatment Task Group as a Raytheon Aircraft representative for 12 years. |

Jason SchulzeLanguages: Location: USA Specialties:
Background: Jason is a metallurgical engineer with over 20 years in the aerospace industry. He is the Director of Technical Services at Conrad Kacsik Instrument Systems. Jason helps suppliers with their Nadcap accreditation in multiple commodities as well as metallurgical process development and improvement in both the US and Mexico. Jason has familiarity with AMS2750, AMS2769, AMS2759 (& family), AMS2770, AMS2772, ASTM E-18, AWS D17.1 as well as prime specifications which include heat treat, brazing, diffusion aluminide coatings and welding. Previous to being a lead instructor with eQuaLearn, Jason facilitated many Nadcap audits in several commodities including heat treat, nonconventional machining, surface enhancement, coatings (diffusion and surface), chemical processing as well as material testing. Jason served as both a metallurgical engineer and quality engineer at several companies during his career prior to joining eQuaLearn. Jason's experience has been both R&D as well as production engineering several processes including heat treating, brazing, coatings (diffusion and surface), welding as well as material testing. Jason serves as a voting member for the AMEC B and D committees. |
