AS13100 Standard
SAE AS13100 is an aerospace standard developed by the SAE G-22 Aerospace Engine Supplier Quality (AESQ) Standards Committee for the aero engine supply chain. The AS13100 standard includes the AS9100 requirements and additional quality requirements and techniques such as 8D Problem Solving methods, Advanced Product Quality Planning (APQP), Production Part Approval Process (PPAP), First Article Inspection, Human Factors, and other quality techniques to manage critical engine component manufacturing.
AESQ requires their suppliers to be in conformance with this standard by January 1, 2023 and has provided supporting materials and Supplier Forums to support their efforts.
GAP analysis audits to help supplier’s identify gaps in their AQMS against the standard requirements as they plan to implement the requirements.
Conformance Audits to provide conformity assurance to suppliers prior to uploading their completed AESQ audit checklist used to demonstrate compliance to the standard as required by AESQ. This is not a certification standard, so the audits do not lead to certification. The output of the audit is the completed AESQ audit checklist with additional narrative.
Our highly experienced AS9100 auditors, who also have additional AS13100 competency and industry experience, will provide a value added audit and report the status of your system against the requirements.
Suppliers may also choose to have PRI Registrar close any NCRs identified to further ensure confidence in compliance to the standard.
