Heat Treating Assessments
Individuals certified in Heat Treat Pyrometry Process Planner have passed an objective assessment of their theoretical knowledge and understanding of how to successfully perform heat treatment processes expected of a Pyrometry Process Planner. The assessment aligns with the Bodies of Knowledge published in PD6103.
Key assessment areas include:

Contract Review
All PRI Qualification program examinations are created using the applicable PRI Qualification program Bodies of Knowledge (BoK), which defines the baseline knowledge and experience required to be considered competent to perform the specified job role in aerospace special process manufacturing.
All BoKs are created by subject matter experts who participate in the PRI Qualification Special Process Work Groups and PRI Qualification Management Council. All BoKs are updated periodically according to the latest revision of PRI Qualification program
documentation (PD6100: Industry Managed Special Process Bodies of Knowledge) to ensure consistency with current industry practice.The PRI Qualification Heat Treat Pyrometry Process Planner has been developed in accordance with ISO/IEC 17024 guidelines for Conformity assessment — General requirements for bodies operating certification of persons.
