As a MedAccred Subscriber, Zimmer Biomet joins a global community of medical device manufacturers committed to advancing quality and patient safety through the rigorous oversight of the critical manufacturing process supply chain. This milestone underscores Zimmer Biomet’s dedication to ensuring supply chain excellence and continuous improvement across the medical device industry. Zimmer Biomet will be working collaboratively with other MedAccred Subscribing companies to drive improvements in supplier quality while building a more robust and resilient supply chain, including companies like Medtronic, Stryker, Philips, BD, Boston Scientific, Edwards Lifesciences, and W.L. Gore.,

By becoming a Subscriber, Zimmer Biomet will participate in the oversight of the MedAccred program, help to shape audit criteria, select subject matter expert auditors, and vote on supplier accreditation decisions. Their involvement will further enhance the capability of critical process suppliers, including those sterilization, laboratory testing, plastics injection molding, PCBA, and heat treating; key elements that impact product reliability and patient safety.
