New Course. Brazing: Fundamentals and Application

The PRI Training program has developed a new 2-day (16 hours) training course on brazing.
This course introduces a new learning concept, promoting enhanced interaction between instructor and participants, thereby raising the learning experience to new, higher levels. The new course design combines in-depth knowledge transfer with multiple question- and-answer sessions that will provide attendees with deeper technical insights and understanding. Extended time is provided for hands-on exercises and group activities, ensuring that attendees can apply brazing effectively in real-world technical environments.
Course material is designed to target the needs of most personnel involved in brazing activities, such as:
- Internal Auditor for brazing
- Nadcap Audit Contact for brazing
- Brazing Coordinator
- Brazing Process Owner / Expert / Technical Lead
- Brazing Planner / Manager / Engineer
By the end of this course, participants will be able to:
- Explain how joint design, material characteristics, and heat sources influence braze joint quality
- Understand each element of the brazing process
- Select appropriate joint designs, brazing materials and brazing processes for enhanced product quality
- Know braze joint features, nonconformities and their root causes
- Describe inspection and testing methods for identifying braze joint features and nonconformities
- Understand the relevance of brazing specifications
