Brazing: Fundamentals and Application

PRI Training’s Brazing course teaches participants how to control key variables to ensure brazed joints conform to customer specifications and quality requirements. The course provides an overview of the brazing process and its underlying scientific phenomena. Participants review best practices for joint design, base and filler metals, heat sources, and protective covers. Participants also review requirements related to engineering documents, procedure and operator qualification, and acceptance criteria. The course concludes with an activity focused on the inspection and testing of brazed joints.

Brazing is a two-day course that uses discussions, activities, and interactive knowledge checks to foster engagement and guide participant learning.
