Heat Treatment of Nickel- and Cobalt-Based Alloys is one of a series of courses giving underlying knowledge for heat treatment. This course extends earlier general courses on basic metallurgy and heat treatment, to cover the special aspects of nickel- and cobalt- based alloys, known as “super alloys.” Topics include basic metallurgy, alloy types and responses to heat treatment, heat treatment processes, the gamma prime (ý) phase, and single-crystal castings.
By the end of this training, you will be able to:
Any person who is actively involved with or associated with nickel-based alloys will benefit from this course. Participants must have knowledge of Basic Metallurgy of Heat Treatments and Basic Heat Treatment.
Courses are created by industry-specific subject matter experts. PRI instructors have years of industry and auditing experience with an established background in the subjects they teach.
Courses are taught on site by well-qualified, experienced PRI instructors.
Online training sessions are taught live by PRI instructors.
