A Conversion/Phosphate Coatings Planner is a technically proficient process specialist who interprets requirements, develops and controls processing methods, ensures compliance with aerospace specifications, resolves process issues, and provides guidance to operators while maintaining quality, safety, and environmental standards. Conversion/Phosphate Coatings BoK is intended for personnel who are responsible for planning, interpreting, and controlling conversion coating processes to ensure compliance with customer, industry, and aerospace requirements. Unlike an Operator/Technician, a Planner must possess a comprehensive understanding of the process and be capable of addressing non-routine issues, interpreting specifications, developing procedures, and guiding others.
