An Operator/Technician (OP-1) in Conversion/Phosphate Coatings is responsible for and possesses the knowledge, skills, training, and safety awareness necessary to consistently perform and monitor chemical conversion coatings and phosphate coating processes in accordance with customer specifications, work instructions, industry standards, and quality requirements. The role requires a basic knowledge of the special process, its methods, equipment, materials, and controls, along with sufficient hands-on experience to perform routine production activities safely and consistently.
