JIANGYIN XINGCHENG SPECIAL STEEL WORKS CO., LTD. Becomes First in China to Achieve Nadcap® NDT Dual-Method Accreditation
- Feb 24, 2026

Jiangyin, Jiangsu, China — JIANGYIN XINGCHENG SPECIAL STEEL WORKS CO., LTD. has successfully achieved Nadcap ® NonDestructive Testing (NDT) accreditation for Eddy Current Testing (ET) and Ultrasonic Testing (UT) following a single, combined audit conducted by the Performance Review Institute ® (PRI). Granted on January 12, 2026, the achievement makes Xingcheng the first enterprise in China’s steel industry to obtain Nadcap NDT dual-method certification.
With this milestone, Xingcheng Special Steel now holds Nadcap accreditation across four critical special process areas: Heat Treating (HT), Steel Manufacturing (STL), Materials Testing (MTL), and Non-Destructive Testing (NDT)—representing the first one with the most comprehensive Nadcap certification portfolios in China’s steel sector and establishing a fully integrated aerospace-grade quality system across its production processes.
Nadcap NDT certification is widely recognized as the authoritative standard for non-destructive testing in the global aerospace and defense industries. The certification follows the AC7114 series requirements, with a strong emphasis on process consistency, data integrity and traceability, and personnel qualification.
During the three-day on-site audit, PRI auditors observed independent ET and UT operations performed by certified personnel. The audit concluded with zero nonconformities, affirming the company’s standardized operations, robust documentation system, and stable process controls.
“This certification represents a critical step forward in strengthening global customer confidence and demonstrates that Xingcheng meets the highest international aerospace quality standards,” stated Bai Yun, General Manager of JIANGYIN XINGCHENG SPECIAL STEEL WORKS CO., LTD. “We will take this certification as a new starting point to continue deepening our expertise in the aerospace equipment sector. By focusing on emerging environments and requirements, we aim to develop more advanced and reliable special steel materials, providing ‘Xingcheng’ solutions for the global aerospace industry.”
This milestone represents an important advancement for China’s steel industry and the global Nadcap community,” said Elizabeth Strano, Interim Vice President of Nadcap. “By achieving dual-method Nadcap NDT certification with zero nonconformities, Xingcheng Special Steel has demonstrated alignment with the highest international aerospace quality standards and reinforced its position as a trusted global supplier.
This achievement further positions Xingcheng Special Steel as a qualified core supplier for global aerospace and other high-end manufacturing markets, significantly enhancing its international competitiveness.
