PRI Registrar Unveils Rebranding: Introducing PRI Certification as the Unified Certification Leader 

PITTSBURGH, Aug. 7, 2024 – Working to protect what matters, Performance Review Institute (PRI) has made strategic moves to provide a more robust suite of services to its clients in the certification industry under a single brand PRI Certification. 

In 2023 the SRI Registrar team joined PRI Registrar to become a part of PRI organization. Earlier in 2024, PRI broadened its scope of offerings by acquiring Management Certification of North America (MCNA) and Platinum Registration. These calculated moves gave PRI a larger auditor base and a deeper pool of expertise. Through greater capabilities, PRI can better serve its clients. 

All four registrars have been operating under PRI, inspiring innovation and delivering greater value to the certification industry. The four companies come together to form PRI Certification, created to honor the vast experience and client excellence of each brand. PRI Certification is about advancing the certification sector and signifying PRI’s commitment to serving the clients’ evolving needs in Quality, Data Security, Environmental, and Health & Safety standards.   

Founded in 1995, PRI Registrar is a not-for-profit organization providing third-party certification services, especially in the aerospace and defense industries. Established in 1991, SRI Registrar began in the steel industry and expanded to offer certification services in over 40 industries worldwide. MCNA has earned its reputation as a reliable certification body in North America, focusing on quality and environmental management standards. Platinum Registration specializes in delivering high-quality audits for ISO management system standards globally. These organizations are now coming together to form PRI Certification, bringing over 60 years of institutional knowledge.
