Structure
The Counterfeit Avoidance Accreditation Program (CAAP) is managed by Industry. The CAAP Management Council (CMC) is made up of Senior Quality Leaders and Managers from the customers around the world, who oversee the audit and accreditation process. For each special process, product or system audited by CAAP, there is a Task Group made up of technical experts from Industry.
CAAP Management Council (CMC)
- Made up of senior quality leaders from industry
- Oversees the operation of CAAP
- Establishes and implements policies and procedures
- Coordinates and develops the Task Groups
- Identifies, develops and deploys improvements
Task Groups (TG)
- Made up of technical experts from industry
- Determine audit requirements
- Develop documents such as checklists and training
- Accept corrective action responses submitted by auditees in response to audit non-conformances (Subscribers only)
- Make the final decision on accreditation (Subscribers only)
