Tony Parfitt is Vice President of Software Engineering at SAE International, where he leads software engineering and data teams responsible for the architecture, delivery, and operation of SAE’s enterprise platforms and digital products. His scope includes software engineering, data engineering and analytics, ML/AI, business analysis, and quality engineering, with a focus on reliability, security, and business impact.

Tony brings deep experience translating technology strategy into execution, improving delivery efficiency, and aligning engineering outcomes to organizational priorities. He partners closely with product, business, and industry vendors to introduce modern, best‑in‑class solutions that accelerate value and reduce complexity.

Prior to SAE, Tony held engineering leadership roles at UPMC Enterprises, PGI, Netspoke, and Four Rivers Software Systems across healthcare and unified communications. He holds a BS in Business Administration with a concentration in Management Information Systems from Robert Morris University.
