Liu joined PRI in 2004 as the first PRI staff person in Asia. Liu started as the Nadcap China Coordinator and became Manager for PRI Asia Pacific in 2009, managing operations of the two Asia Offices (China and Japan) and business development in the Asia Pacific Region. Liu has ensured the steady growth of PRI business in Asia by building strategic relationship with government agencies and industry associations from Mainland China, Taiwan, Hong Kong, Japan, Singapore, South Korea, and Malaysia. During his tenure, the number of Nadcap audits in Asia has grown significantly, and major aerospace primes from China and Japan have joined the PRI Board of Directors and become Nadcap subscribers.
In 2014, Liu was appointed the General Manager of PRI (Beijing) Certification Co., Ltd. (a PRI subsidiary company), responsible for establishing and growing PRI’s aerospace quality management system certification and related training business. Since then, PRI has become one of the major players in the market of AQMS certification in Mainland China.
Prior to joining PRI, Liu worked as a Specialist for SAE International. Liu had also worked with Lean Enterprise Institute (LEI) on the translation of its publications.
Liu received both of his BS and MS degree in Automotive Engineering from Tsinghua University, P.R.China.
