Jason Lambert

Jason Lambert brings more than 24 years of engineering leadership experience to his role as Vice President, Engineering at Performance Review Institute® (PRI℠). With a deep foundation in technical standards, regulatory compliance, and cross-functional team leadership, Jason is well positioned to advance PRI's mission of delivering world-class supply chain oversight and quality management programs.
Throughout his career, Jason has led the development of safety-critical products across some of the world's most demanding industries — including aerospace, automotive, marine, defense, and medical. His work has required not only deep technical expertise, but a thorough command of the international standards and regulatory frameworks that govern these fields. He has served as a subject matter expert in engineering compliance across multiple markets, participated actively in industry rulemaking, and led complex type approval processes spanning both established and emerging regulatory environments.
Prior to joining PRI, Jason served as Vice President of Mechanical Engineering and System Integration at Freudenberg Battery Power Systems, where he led cross-functional engineering teams through the full product development lifecycle — delivering advanced lithium-ion battery systems into safety-critical applications across multiple industries. His responsibilities extended beyond product development to encompass requirements engineering, functional safety, regulatory certification, and high-volume production. Earlier roles at AVL Powertrain Engineering and FEV, Inc. grounded him in systems and advanced technology engineering across global OEM programs.
Jason holds a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from Michigan State University and has pursued ongoing professional development throughout his career, including executive business leadership education at INSEAD in Fontainebleau, France. A longtime member of SAE International, Jason traces the roots of his engineering career to his days leading his collegiate Formula SAE team — a connection that has come full circle in his role at PRI.
