Ed Maschmeier
Vice President of PRI Certification
Ed Maschmeier holds over 25 years of experience in the independent third-party certification
industry. He specialized in the automotive sector, serving as an IATF auditor for 15 years and
as a Quality Manager at a tier one supplier to Ford, GM, Nissan, and Toyota for four years.
Ed has been influential in the development and operation of 14 accredited management system
programs across various sectors, including automotive, aerospace, quality, environmental,
safety, medical devices, information security, service, RCMS, and ResponsibleSteel.
His extensive experience spans a multitude of industries, encompassing basic metals, metals
manufacturing, chemicals, plastics, rubber, equipment, electronics, materials processing,
recycling, testing and calibration services, and engineering services.
At PRI, Ed Maschmeier serves as the Vice President of Certification, where he leads strategic
initiatives to ensure the effectiveness and integrity of PRI's certification programs. In this
capacity, he oversees the development, implementation, and maintenance of PRI's certification
processes across multiple industries.
Ed collaborates closely with leading companies such as Nucor, Cleveland Cliffs, US Steel,
ArcelorMittal, thyssenkrupp Materials NA, Flex-N-Gate, and others, assisting them in achieving
and maintaining certification for their management systems.
