Chris Vest
Global Quality Leader, GE Aerospace
Chris Vest is the Global Quality Leader for GE Aerospace.
He joined GE Aerospace in November 2023. In this role he is responsible for leading GE Aerospace's Quality organization and advancing the enterprises quality transformation throughout the lifecycle of our products. Additionally, Chris and his team are using FLIGHT DECK, our proprietary lean operating model, to drive process improvements throughout the Quality organization to drive greater value for our customers.
Most recently Chris served as Vice President of Quality and Integrity for Parker Aerospace. In that role, Chris was responsible for operational leadership as well as the development and execution of the Aerospace Group Quality Strategy. Chris joined Parker in 2017 as the Director of Quality for the Gas Turbine Fuel Systems Division of the Aerospace Group. In his roles at Parker Aerospace, Chris created and executed a comprehensive Zero Defects strategy for internal manufacturing and supplier-provided components. Chris, and his leadership team played a key role in driving a culture of zero defects while integrating the Meggitt Aerospace businesses into the Parker Aerospace quality management system.
Prior to joining Parker, Chris held leadership roles as Quality Project Manager for John Deere and Quality Manager for UTC Aerospace Systems.
Chris holds a bachelor’s degree in industrial technology from Iowa State University and a master’s degree in business administration from Case Western Reserve University.
